Lolthis is what the sun looks like for those of you who haven't seen it in a while
i just dont want to read the full post because i just dont careSword read the full post instead of just posting stuff as i said at the end yes the lvl 140 group would out dps te lvl 120 group as both groups would only need 15% to lock the boss. Target lock wasnt made to stop this kind of competition what it was made was to stop a lvl 150 group from taking a lvl 100 boss from a lvl 100-120 group. For a real question since u dont seem to understand target lock otherwise u wouldnt have picked an example where both groups need the same % to lock the boss, who would lock a lvl 100 boss first a lvl 100-120 group or a lvl 150-170 group? The answer for this question is simple in most cases if both groups started within seconds of each other the lvl 100-120 group would lock the boss way before the 150-170 group thus takin the boss even though they were completely out dpsed. This is what target lock does it prevents a high lvl from taking a boss much lower then themselves from a group that is at the right lvl for the boss. As the op complained saying they lost the boss to a high lvl after they camped for hours well they had an advantage they just werent prepared enough. Then another comment by another forum user posted a clear example as to how the lower lvl group has a huge advantage by the spirehoof story. So in the end if anyone loses a boss its not a ks the real situation is the boss belongs to whoever locks it first and if i spend all day camping thats ur choice doest give u priority on a boss just because u wasted 8 hours and then someone got lucky and camped for 5 mins and got the kill.
Im gonna let ya in on a little secretPot meet kettle. Kettle, pot.lame picture
