Test mobs or bosses around your level and you'll see
Closer to the enemies level the faster u get target lock

Yeah, there is no more KS, then why would target lock exist? It would be pointless to have it.

@killstealer, you say that players under your level are noobs? That is so stupid. It doesn't matter your level. Its your maturity and understanding of the game that depicts if you're a noob or not.

EDIT: Back to the original question. Arythmatic, that's not a KS. You need to fight for the lock. You guys did and the high level won. It would only be a KS if you guys started to hit it before the high level. If you guys did hit it before the high level, you guys should've done enough dmg to get the lock yourselves.

I get ksed because of target lock. An example: I don't need starspell, but if I see it I would kill. I was killing starspell, its hp was at 2/3. Group of people came and started attacking, all around level 100. I was 160-170 at the time, and no one got lock until health was around 40% where the other group got lock. I had started killing for a good 20 seconds before they arrived and lost the kill, how does it prevent KSing?

Who told you high levels don't need drops from like falgren, starspell or redbane? Alts exist for a reason you know
And at that level you should expect the lock to be acquired very hard on a a such low level mob so bring a alt of friend around the mobs level to secure the lock or this loses will happen very often :/

Well, I'm just talking about the experience I had. I didn't need any drops from starspell, but I decided to kill because who doesn't like some extra gold. I can solo starspell with ease, so I never think about calling someone to help. I do ask clan if anyone needs, but never think about bringing help.

It's just the fact that I got KSed because of target lock that shows target lock wasn't implemented to stop KSing, but to stop higher levels hogging all bosses. Which I kind of agree with.

Same as the OP just the lvl roles were reversed. A ks happened end of story.

Target lock just needs improvements. That's all.
