Pain wouldn't have got lock at 20%... The lvl 90s wouldn't have had as far to go (damage to Falg-wise) to get lock. Just seems a li'l weird to me - how many of you were there against Pain?

Notice you said 'in this case it was a ks'.

Tell me, if I had a level 90 that needed Drags, would I kill Falgren on that level 90? .. Or would i log onto my level 187 Rogue and kill it? .. It's a bit obvious.

I wasn't sure what the mob's health was at when they lost the lock. I've had mobs lock at 40%, so I was just giving a broad definition of what a KS is.

^ I don't think you understand target lock yourself. It's to prevent high levels hogging bosses they don't need.

I get ksed because of target lock. An example: I don't need starspell, but if I see it I would kill. I was killing starspell, its hp was at 2/3. Group of people came and started attacking, all around level 100. I was 160-170 at the time, and no one got lock until health was around 40% where the other group got lock. I had started killing for a good 20 seconds before they arrived and lost the kill, how does it prevent KSing?
How do you get it after health is around 40%? Its usually (for me) around 60-70%. You should've done more damage than them by the time they got there, unless they were already there with you

I didn't get it, that's the point. The lock fight went on until health was at 40%. They managed to take lock from me due to being lower levelled.

If you think there's something wrong with my dps, my storm is 45/35, fire bolt 40/35, attune 40/35, lure 20/35. :/

its free for all until somebody gets the lock

although i should say that most people would have the common courtesy to not ks someone over a drop worth 15k
