So me and a few others was taking the all seeing one, i tanked up until the end when he took the aggro, (note i was still doing fine when he took it) so when he gets a crest that i needed, he made me pay full price for the thing! So i of course think its unfair, but what are ur thoughts? Is this the norm? I feel that i should not have to pay full for a drop of a boss i helped kill!

Erm please also note, this is a *question* post, not a hate, ik i did a bad job of making it seem the way it should, but keep this in mind when replying please

#1 it isn't pointless, its a question post
#2 he didnt tank, i did, he just took aggro at the very last minute
#3 yes ik but still, i helped and i would have givin it to him for free if he needed it, and i had gotten it

Short answer:
A) You are correct to be upset.
B) They have the right to sell at any price and upset you.

Present the situation as a hypothetical next time.

I've had the same experience. There is no rule for this, except explicitly by clan. There is an unwritten voluntary etiquette that a discount should be given to others, but don't take strong offense if they don't. Some friends always keep the bigger half when they share a sandwich. You're still better off in the game keeping them as friends, if they invite you to boss battles.

Just silently remember what kind of friend they are. The next time you get a drop they want, stick them with the small end of the sandwich.
