Re: Time to sell DL?

As for my comments about lix hounds vs. end game designation.
Sarge - The main resource we all have is time. On a personal note, I have a very busy job, a family, and not as much time as I used to have to game due to my responsibilities. I am a newer players to Lugh and one of those "Lix hounds" you so politely referred to. Why is it necessary to degrade the people that choose to maximize the time they have to reach end game? I know you mean well, but sometimes what you intend to say does not come across that way.

U guys are forgetting u can sell for what u want but its not u who ditactes prices its the buyer so if u offer something for 1 mil but the most anyone's gonna pay 500k then that's the price of the item
Someone who holds onto DL items trying to charge an overpriced value resulting in no sale is the same as someone who is hoarding. There will always be a disconnect between what people want to pay vs. what people want to sell for. If the server decides to start allowing the sale of DL items, I don't think it is realistic to put price caps on DL items because people will always take advantage and it is not enforceable.

My apologies Senta. I was just stating that there has been a theme running through various threads that some how being a end game player was deserving of special treatment. I'm very glad you play the way you play. It's your time, spend it on how ya like. I've lixed and have spent time in the game. My feelings, and they are personal, are that lixed to the max players should not be given special consideration when it comes to drops. What use to take months now takes days or weeks. Don't know if I've ever played with you on the server. Sadly, most peeps I started with have come and gone. Not many that have played from the start with CH. Have a great one.

Everyone at end game should have the same consideration, regardless of how long or fast they got there. Not sure we have played together, but I look forward to it when we do.

I hate responded to my own post. But a brief history lesson Senta. As a former end game player, days before Aggy, I along with a few others, tried to even the field for others who were not end game players. My personal view is that there should be no requirements for bosses. You put in the time, lixes and idols than you deserve a place in the dice. Oh they dont help is the cry. Well if they are spending resources, then why not. Who is to say they dont jump on lixes and get to 180 in a few days or weeks. Thats where my views come into play when I hear the word end gamer being used.

No, no, I meant a 190+ player shouldn't have special consideration,2 plus rolls, etc, over a 180 plus player. I used the cutoff of 180 due to boss requirements. Yes, I look forward to upcoming game play.
This is no longer in effect on Lugh. Double rolls were vetoed about a month ago.

Ive chosen to remain quiet on this topic, now for my say.

These drops are being hoarded, with the original plan hoarders were supposed to be banned from dicing, but look what happens, a group of high level, "lix hounds" start hoarding and the rule goes out the window.

These hoarders selecting those who "deserve" is a load of bull, for the "benefit of Lugh" these drops should go to anyone who needs, i personally know of a few warriors who need urns that would love them. Ive helped people of all classes on every type of piece of armour. I have given away from gems to crowns, not asking for repayment only the decency to pass on the favours, but i continue to see people hoard drops. I personally give away a drop i dont need as soon as someone asks usually.

Then we have a sales perspective, the inequality in the market. Purple will sell at top range every time whereas blue will still struggle to be given away.

Inequality for drops sales prices is one of the main reasons i oppose this, this will further unbalence our economy, casters and rangers wont have anything to spend on, hell rogues i hear day in day out refuse gold offers simply because they "dont need gold." This wont change that fact, which still means people wont sell drops because they dont need gold... Then there is the other side. People would have to sell blues, green and yellows so cheaply due to the underpopulation of these classes, which would mean lower levels would buy these cheaply then no have to put any real effort into their pieces.

Another problem, people wanted to "gear the higher levels first" but when people sell drops any old player with plat/gold can outbid someone who is high leveled and virtually snipe an armour piece off the player...

Well stated Luk. I only suggest selling because as you can see, the hoarding continues. Haha, I love your statement. Equipping high levels first. Hahaha, who came up with that idea??? Hmmm...I wonder. We need to figure out a way to get the hoarders to deal out the goods, not by a so called deserve status, thats bunk. Cya Luk
