Hey tea. Great info about update, i just got one question as well. Where do winterking and icelord weapons sit against crystal weapons?
They are currently comparable, meaning the DMG and speed is close to eachother. Some weapons are perhaps slightly better, some are perhaps slightly worse than WK. This is among the last things we have been working on in our beta builds so things are subject to a tweak at anytime from 1thumb, but this issue has been a hotly debated one. And trying to figure out exactly where weapons from a holiday event 6 months ago should fit in the weapon progression scheme has been quite fiercely discussed by all sides. I guess. To be honest..we will see when update launches what One Thumb thinks.
Thanks for the update.
Quick questions:
1) Will you need meteoric gear to get dragon such as the succession is now with warden to meteoric?
2) Will upgrade items continue to be class based? The bottleneck of red tabs and rems right now is ruining the game for warriors as the demand far outweighs the supply. Hoping upgrade items will go back to being non class specific to remedy this huge problem.
No idea. The last stuff we have tested in beta are ability/skill quests, otherworld bosses, crystal weapons and the like. There has been a ton of discussion about the possibilities but the quest for either Upgraded Met, or Dragon Armors hasn't hit the beta servers yet. I suspect it will soon after update releases.
Thanks for the well written FAQs Tea!
Just one question....
I didnt see this on the Class preview of rouges you wrote, or on here, so I was wondering if, in PvP, the Hide skill is engineered so that other players cant see you, just like NPCs cant. in PvE.
Thanks again

I did put the picture if what Hide does look like to other players in the Rogue Primer, although a powerful camo charm can look the same. It is possible to be largely invisible esoecially during a bunch of fire or lightning explosions in arena with people fighting. But as people start getting more savvy and learning rogue tricks I am sure they will start looking for sneaking players. You may be harder to see but you are still targetable.
Awesome, teaweasel! One question, is there a SINGLE skill that is buyable from merchants?
As of right now, No. As in No NEW skills are purchasable from merchants, if you are a new starting character, you will be given all your class skills except for 1-3 in the starting quest. So there may still be a Ranger Trainer, but that NPC will only be selling a few Update 2 skills not in the Starting Quest hand out's. (you get Med/Recup/Bandages in Starting quest too).
