Yes! I agree that this should be the final level cap. All the people I have met on this game have been around way longer than I have. I starting playing this game during last halloween. OTM is basically just pleasing old players and forgetting about getting more people to play. I feel like I will quit if there is a higher level cap. Do you know how hard it is to find people to level with sometimes? I am glad I got friends that will help though. Rather than increasing levels caps, OTM could bring a vast amount of content. Order and chaos has a level cap of 70 and there is ALWAYS something to do. They are always adding new content and quests to do. Not only that but, they also have a very nice pvp system which should be implemented in this game. Increasing the level cap also causes there to be a very limited amount of players because no one wants to keep leveling over and over again. All OTM has to do is keep adding content. for example, they could add new areas with mobs near the current soft cap rather than increasing it after every new area. Put up bosses there that drop fashion, gear, mounts, or pets. They could even add houses you could buy for clans or individual players and decorate those houses. There should be mini games to entertain everyone. The list goes on. Just STOP increasing the level cap! Enough is enough.

I am not even close to the level cap, but am totally up for more hard core grinding. Ive recently gotten back into this game and am excited about it. But I can also see how people get tired of doing the same task all the time. I can definitely get behind some epic intricate side quests. For example, Skyrim was hit game, but who played it for the main story? Not me. There were hours upon hours of entertaining side quest game play.

(Forgive me if you think that Skyrim and this MMO are incomparable)

If there isn't no more leveling what else can we do? Right now all there is is leveling, camping and farming. There needs to be a lot more content to do on a daily basis before they stop rising the level cap
Raising the level cap does no good for the game what so ever. If you think that an mmo is all about leveling you should probably play different mmo's and come back to say what you think.

Exactly like others have said, if OTM just keep increasing the level cap the game will die a slow and horrible death. It will get to the point where not even horizontal content can save the game. Lets face it, no one wants to spend hundreds of hours grinding and grinding to hit the level cap on a MOBILE game. OTM seems to think that people enjoy staring at a tiny screen just grinding over and over. That may appeal to 5% of the gaming population but the rest of the 95% will just quit.

I think OTM should take a look at other mmo's for PC and learn from them. Look at Guild Wars 2, WoW and even Runescap. Take the things from there and start adding horizontal content before its too late, because right now you guys are really pushing the boundaries.

I never said it was a good or bad idea, don't get me wrong i certainly don't think they should raise the level cap but im pointing out that there's not much else to do so at this moment in time leveling is one of the few things. Like what's been mentions before about the pets, mount system, crafting, fishing etc then this will give us much more to do but I really can't see that being any time soon :(

I've been reading that this game and OTM is going to be doomed and everyone is going to quit and yet the game and OTM is still here. And some servers are busier and more populated than ever.

Does OTM need to make a few changes? Yes. But it's crazy how we have these doomsayer posts almost daily.

Yes we get it. You don't enjoy playing anymore. So stop playing and making posts about it. Oh I suppose this is where the come back of its a forum and I can post what I want comes in

Honestly I think that the higher the level cap, the less likely there is to be new higher lvled players. People are gonna get on, play till about 30-50 or so, then they will freak out and quit when they see people 5 times their lvl.

I kind of get the feeling that there is a reason why most other big MMORPGS have lvl caps no higher then 100. Runescape skills only go to 99. Order and Chaos goes to like 60, Star Wars The Old Republic is what, 70? (Havent played in years, and only for a short time).

Imo its because they want people to stay interested, even if its the same amount of time to get from 1-100, as 1-220. New people will be like, "oh, they are only lvl 100, cool I can do this". Instead of starting and thinking, "oh dang...it took me 4 hours to get to lvl 40, how long will it take me to hit 220????"

Personally, I think that if OTM had kept the level cap at 150, then focused just on horizontal content, it would have a lot more active players. Yes...some of the old timers likely would have quit. But if you figure keeping 20 old timers around, or having 50 new people enjoying the game, I'd personally pick the second. But its too late for that. I kind of agree with an earlier poster...this game is just going to go until the long-term players start quitting. I know on Sulis at least, we only have like 5-10 new (started the game half a year ago or less) people who have been actively lvling and are about 160-180ish. Id venture a guess that maybe 90% or more of Sulis' 180+ crowd have played for at least a year, maybe half of those for almost 2 or more. I gotta give it to OTM, they are doing a pretty good job at keeping high lvled people occupied with new events and areas...but a lot of low lvls are missig out because they dont want to take the time to get to the top.

Well its because this is true, currently i do enjoy the game and am willing to level to the cap once again as i have so in the past. But my question was is this the final cap, because if it isn't the game is surely going to die. If they keep increasing to like 300 or what ever new players will be discouraged and quit before they even hit 200.
Also i never said it will happen anytime soon, i am just simply predicting something that will happen in maybe the 2-5years if nothing changes. How ever if OTM do get their stuff together it will be a whole different story.

Do u not see how much otm is struggling? Players are leaving faster then they are joining and players are no longer supporting this game making otm lose more and more money. These sales every weekend only prove this players who have been around for a long time can see it. They are rushing content releases before they are ready to save what players they have still playing. Instead of focusing on bug fixes they focus on update releases because they can't afford to take any longer then they already are with new update. It won't be long till we really see the effects of players frustration in game other then all these sales every weekend.

Sales don't prove anything. Just because you think the sales mean OTM is losing money doesn't mean it's true.
Maybe they're raking it in with each sale. Why would they keep doing something that is unsuccessful? They're running a business if you forgot. Anyways do you have the stats? No. Quit talking like you do.
