Defence dosent suck it's useful for almost all roles and classes

Ikr? Someone clearly has never bothered to try to raise their defense even a bit apparently because it can make a HUGE difference with evades

Especially when a mage sneaks up and kills you in arena

1) my ranger has no use for defence.

2) defence means nothing vs a mage.

I wanna try it out too, but I feel like the 600 stats loss from my bladeleaf will be too heavy unless I'll find good enough gear to replace it.

Im guessing you have never tried to solo train or level without not caring how much you spend on restos

Maybe against pvp Mages it has no use but against Mage Mobs it has uses

Im a dex ranger and the defense is an extra bonus. I can actually stand by an even lvl 3star and just heal myself and dodge.

I wuodnt waste my dps ammy slot on a defense skill, however.

For me this is the best ammy there's been, soley for that 4k pierce damage skill. I can't think of anything that could beat it in future events unless they added a skill that gives u 40% stackable haste or a high level natured embrace skill. I can't wait to get it

This ammy is very good for dps warriors and rogues but i believe that for rangers the stargem strength ammy is best (i have owned both) being you have to be right next to the target to use the skills and rangers are... Well... ranged.
