I will admit that I may have come across as somewhat harsh in my comments, though I stand by my point that players cannot willingly gamble, then complain that they didn't win.
As part of my comments I have pointed out that you guys stated it is a jackpot prize. However what I will say in everyone's defense is that it has never been front and centre that it is a jackpot prize and it is by no means obvious unless you do a little digging. Yes players should have done that digging before taking the gamble, but in fairness I think OTM should and could do more to make it obvious. My first suggestion would be to update the chest description in the store to state that the egg is a jackpot prize.

Second thanks for at least confirming that the drop rates are slightly better than other jackpot prizes. Would you guys be able / willing to confirm that, for this new chest, the drop rate of the gold and plat jackpot prizes is the same is it always has been in past chests? Just to put players minds at rest that you haven't increased jackpot rates specifically for this chest.

But how many people complain to the casino management that they didn't win the jackpot and then tell them the jackpot rate is too high and demand to be given a jackpot prize?

Bad news first: No, we won't publicly give you the drop rate, but as someone has stated previously, it is and has always been advertised as a Jackpot Prize. The information passed to me is that the drop is similar to (actually you have a bit of better chance at an egg) than the other Jackpot Prizes.

Good news second: Now that being said, it is completely understandable that we are receiving complaints that it takes hitting Jackpot six times in order to have a maxed out prize. Keeping this in mind as players discuss, the team is closely monitoring this discussion and the information coming the game.

It's completely okay for you to complain about aspects or additions to the game that you don't enjoy. I can also follow the logic of Robbo's post and hope/believe their intent is not to anger, but to ask a different question. That is that of game direction for paid content and the amount it takes to max out the dragon pet VS specifically drop rate, as this is advertised as Jackpot Prizing. Seems like one of those situations where someone is asking if we're really asking the right questions. Just my take.

Please continue with your discussions from both points of view. We need the feedback and information for future decisions made for the game. We want it to be fun! We don't have a game without a community.

Now maybe in Facebook or other teaser you make the claim, I don’t know. In the game the Chest says, “*2017* Win up to 3 rewards from each mystery chest including a chance of an amazing Dragon Hatchling Pet, all-new Battle Mount Tokens, Fashion Tokens, Pet Tokens, Heroic Elixer Bundles, up to 4000 platinum, and a Grand Prize of 2,000,000 gold.”

OTM clearly lists the egg, mount tokens, fashion tokens, pet tokens and lix bundles on equal footing. No mention of the egg being a jackpot. In fast 2,000,000 gold,is listed as the GRAND PRIZE, therefore all other prizes should be more common and worth less than 2m in gold.

Oh, you're right. We did not mention it in enough prominent places. It was mentioned, but it should have been mentioned in more highly visible places. I'll eat that mistake. BUT, we'll definitely not make that mistake again while I'm around.
