Celtic Heroes

Imagine reliving or experiencing the good old days of Celtic Heroes.

I miss the olden days of Celtic Heroes and would really love if there was 1 classical server that is staggered to mimic the evolution of Celtic Heroes.
For example: When the server starts, the end game location will be Stonevale. A certain amount of months later, the other world can open up and a certain amount of months later another area can open up.

Not only would this give old players nostalgia but it would feel like a completely different experience for newer players. Not to mention it will create a new and wonderful community.

I think it would be cool but I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Although that would take a decade to make while focusing on the main game so 0% chance of happening

or make a server where you can literally buy not platinum on. ALL items that you will have to buy from store would only be able to earned by doing things. I know that it would be a stupid because OTM won't make money from that server. But they could put like a 10$ a month subscription. Every month you would have a choice of continue playing or not if you get bored or not feeling like paying 10$. Personally for me it would be great to start a server where people that have $$$$$$ couldn't really over power you and it all would come down how good you are and on the amount of time you got to spend on game.

While I do quite like the idea I don't think it would be feasible at this time.
Working on two games would be quite a daunting task, working on two games whilst one is a new engine trying to mimic an old engine would be incredibly demanding.

It would be great to see a part of Celtic Heroes history but as CM I'd rather we help shape the future as a community rather than the past.

Yeah, too bad the old game was better than the new grindfest with no horizontal content, and didn’t have chests to milk your fanbase dry of their cash, huh

If to compare to an old game that could do that, being MU Online, what they did is release their updates' as season, thus, every season had different files and when players created private servers they could relieve the days of old seasons back at 2005-2008 or so.

In OTM, they update the existing files and I doubt they keep a copy of the entire game as it was before a certain update, which if they would would be an easier task, but as they didnt, not to mention a different engine, its really a tough task to do.

Yeah would love to relive the old servers. When you had no death penalty and could press restoration potions as much as you wanted.
