There should be an option where you can lock your account to one device (Preferably your main device). So that when someone else knows the password, user and try an log in, it will fail.

This is the best way to prevent so-called 'password guessing' and 'hacks'.
I would say no to this because I like to log my accounts on different devices sometimes. I do like Vold's idea even though it would be a pain after getting a new iDevice and already having to wait a long time for download and patching.
That's the whole point of it, you can lock or keep it registered with as many devices as you desire. But as most only stick with one device it can be either way.

I like the facebook idea too, but then again it has a lot of twists to it like having the facebook account guessed! Where as the simple device account suggestion has no twists other than just keep your device in your hands. You can give your password to 10000 of ppl but they wont be able to log in because their devices are not registered with the account.
Again, the point is for the person who has access to it can register with any of their devices. (More than one i guess)

Can we be honest here?

If anyone is stupid/naive enough to pick a password that actually can be guessed... Then they deserve everything that happens to it. Usually kids pick something like "pickles" as a password and then go off (like a total dip**** telling everyone how much they love pickles, and all anyone has to do is find out their username..and wah-la.. So rather than sharing the password, I would find out who knew yer friend's user name. Because if anyone can guess yer password, its because a) you picked a stupid one or b) you are stupid/or extremely naive if its a child, but guessing a username, especially after they can't be the same name as your main character now, is harder.

In all honestly, your "friend" owes you everything he was too stupid/naive to properly secure on his account. That guy isn't the victim, he is the offender. Now if its a kid, and their main crime is being young and naive, that's unfortunate, but it doesn't change the scenario.

I don't like seeing kids taken advantage of, but I also don't think the company should change its policy to account for them. They simply need to be taught to protect their stuff, and if they hafta learn painfully...so be it.

The issue here not a kid having a easy to get password

The issue is you can unlimited. Try to crack it without any safeguard if they are implementing new safeguards is because is issue.

About users usually other game when user name account is taken doesnt actually said is taken give you variation or said he name is unavailable doenst said already exist ,

A lot games the user name is a valid email adress so you confirm account truth a link , but they already said they will add new safe measure to the game because was lacking it .
Inactive player .

En este juego , mientras tanto otros juegos se llevan mi plata.

You may have let loose a lot of flame Tea, but have to agree with you. Not everyone is as cunning and intelligent. You wouldn't believe the amount of people who are not even kids but grown adults who lack common sense.

It's unfair for those who may have a certain disability to one thing but that's just that and cannot be handled accordingly for not just OTM but any company.

lol in the short time I ran golg after skull left, I logged in one day, and somebody was like:
"oh hey, PLAYERX made us a new bank character"
i logged off, and just for fun, typed in "***************" for username. for password I tried "**********". wrong. I tried "*********". Bingo.
I had just guessed the username AND password to our new bank. right out of the blue.
I then made a second character on that account named UBeenHacked.
obviously we never put anything on that bank lmao.

so yeah dont make super obvious passwords

EDIT: removed actual username and pw. prob against some rule, even though its an empty level 1 account  All you need to know is that it was ridiculously easy to guess.

@Teaweasel, I understand that you have a certain style of getting your point across, but calling people stupid and naive can offend. I've left it because it's the OP's friend and not the OP, but please try to reword what you attempt to say in the future. If the OP states that they are offended or that it will/has offended their friend, then I may edit your post. :)

Regarding the comments since I posted, I agree that people should make secure passwords, but you can't control what everyone does. This means that if it is possible to implement some sort of system, then there's nothing to lose really.
