Whats the best place to camp for a black crown?

In the first event from 2012 , i collected over 1000 cakes and had no black party hat. Its real hard to get stuff like this.

well this one guy on danu said he camped the skullcrusher camp spawn and got 8 crowns in 8 hours

Last year I did not get any... then one day I was training my abilities on flintblades and I got the black hat... It is very random I agree. But then again what is this game isn't?

You know those moments when ur not trying to find something, and you find it? Do that?
