The old red canes before the nerf got a npc value of 1 k. Don't drop em they are worth somethin.

Nope the purp on was just given lvl req for lvl 100 and kp they added more crap candy canes

Once the old quest was removed you could no longer get any though. The new quest had different colors and a different look. It also took about 5x longer as they nerfed the mob spawn times.

But the purp used to have no level required. If you never unequipped after they nerfed them you could keep it equipped. I saw a lvl1 with one still equipped (lvl100 req lol) on my world a few months ago.
