We are talking about attack and damage, not interupts. Your defense rating effects how often you get interupted, of course. But the actual Attack rating, or Defense rating, don't ever weigh in on whether any skill or ability hits. Because as soon as you successfully cast or successfuly use a skill, they hit. Attack and Defense are only relative to auto attacks, and even in terms of interupts, a Druids defense rating is only a rating that is relative to enemy auto attacks that could interupt him. Not enemy skills. (because those always hit when successfully cast)
