I would actually rather see you be able to take subclass specialties.

Mages could go into illusionists, necromancers, summoners, etc

Warriors could go paladin, barbarian, etc

And etc for each class. Subclasses would have their own skill sets and different weapons
So sorta like MK X? lol
Was thinking closer to dungeons and dragons. Well I've never played MK X so not sure

I would remove all classes.

I never understood the point of classes - why not just remove them all? It would make builds a lot more interesting if you could combine all the different skills/weapons. I've always preferred games that had no classes as they generate a lot more variety in builds and tactics to approaching the game.

Honestly, it seems like builds are just a easy way to limit OP toons, but its better to just prevent OP toons by limiting stats and ability points.

Eshield
Fast reflexes
Def formation
Taunt
Shield wall

you would need jewelery to max them

That would only work if you could max out all the other abilities ( e.g. Nature Magic) as well. This is why the better option is to limit stats/abilities (e.g. If you max out Nature Magic, the melee abilities and ice magic would have to be 0) to prevent OP builds.

Subclasses, or paths in some games, make a single class with supposedly a role to expand itself into even more roles, and that is found in many D&D style of games, has high success too.

^We have said it not because we think rangers shouldnt be a part of the game (a ranger by his own said rangers), but because of how easily rogues could replace them, same goes for more than 2 (3 at most) warriors per server (tanks... Non tanks could be and would better be replaced by rogues ofc) and druids too if we had more than 5 per clan, mages boost dps and dont just dps thus why rogues cant replace them.
