Where is the foc/vit mount?!?

Perfectly happy with the Foc/Defense Wolf. Mage being so vulnerable - I'm always looking to supplement his defenses. There is enough gear in existence to plus VIT. Balancing optimal VIT and FOC with DEFENSE is another thing.

I agree with u for training, but dex is definitly useless in bossfights

ya, why i still can't wrap my head around why mage DG gives defense.... imo each piece should give a fm and im buff instead ._. bleh. Either that or at least something useful like health or energy... but defense?

Mage DG has defense stat because OTM design is under the impression that DG mages still do a lot of solo lixing and they need defense to dodge mob attacks.

Given that mages have no armor (by class design) the defense does help a lot for bounties and such, and I have come to greatly appreciate it. However, for a armor set designed for killing EG bosses i feel that DG should be more DPS orientated.

Is that really the case? Because I cannot think of a single set of DG that acts this way. DG seems as if it was specifically designed to replace EDL for EG boss killing, from the EDL aura, to the specific upgrades (massive attack and damage upgrades for example). I do get how it is show offy and ceremonial (color scheme and rarity of it) but nonetheless I don't think its fair to say that it wasn't designed to be used as an upgrade, unless OTM or Muldar said something along those lines and i missed it.

I question the team's idea of "prestige set". If it was simply for prestige, it would not be more powerful than exalted armor.

May be more powerful but you would still be butter without that armour, this is why I believe it is designed as mix and match so go part EDL part Doch Gul.

Then if players wanted they could get the full set as sort of a status symbol, of course everyone will want it but I would not use it in full as my main armour.

Eh, i know that the rangers and rogues on arawn will continue to pressure us to kill prot for attack braces, also DG is still cool .-.

New armour sets should be better than DG for anyone to actually bother with the set.

By the time the new armour sets roll up most people will have decent attack braces, currently people continue to kill Prot for confluxes after they get their braces, so if there are armour sets better than DG, Prot will be left up.
