I’d rank it
1. DKP (specifically with decay but normal works as well.)
2. Loot Counsel (as long as it is unbiased and decisions are based off of people’s contributions.)
3. Rolling (Simply due to the fact that there is too much chance involved)
Shadowbolt3- 224 Rogue
Shadmistress- 188 Mage
Shadowbolt2- 113 Warrior (Retired)
Helaman- 157 Locker Rogue
ShadShot- 89 Ranger
Shadow Bolt- 82 Druid
Raganos- 100 Warrior
World: Crom

Yeah I still don’t understand the arguments for decay.

If an old member goes inactive and comes back after an extended period of time, if they somehow happen to luck out by attending the boss that drops the godly, AND still have the highest DKP points, they deserve the drop.

Real life comes into play, doesn’t mean their past activity should just be ignored or wittled down over time. They’ve clearly put (the most) effort in, in the past.

I think most peoples biggest issue is that the old player went inactive and may think theyvare coming back but then vanish again weeks or even days later. Then the drop is sitting inactive again for an extended period of time. To most benefit a clan, you want the best drops on the most active current players. Not those who used to be active but now play once a week or regulrly go missing for long periods of time

Thissssss. Suggested decay dkp to my old clan but got shot down quickly. Decay makes the most sense and is most beneficial to the clan... normal dkp is a game of holding hands with the inactives which I never agreed with.

I personally believe that a DKP system with decay is the best form of distribution. I've been advocating for adding decay to my clan's current DKP system for several months now. However, the argument against it was that anyone who goes inactive for a short period of time because of IRL circumstances would be put at a disadvantage. Admittedly, for a DKP system to be effective, you need to have leaders that won't use their power to abuse the system.
What is the DKP system? Havent encountered one since drops are given to the ones who need it like discs. TBH, I don't like the roll system. Overall, I don't care much of the drop unless it is for an armor quest, I'm for the gold and XP XD.
A DKP (Dragon Kill Points) system is a point system where attending bosses earns you points that you can use to purchase items.

Basically, an in-game point system where you trade your points? Thanks for the link. It would be very nice if they added it to the game. But for me, the best way is the loot system where whoever gets it, keeps it.
