Otm loves putting something on the shoulder fash....WHY?

So, to bump this up a bit...


1. When is Ostara planned to be released? Follow up question...will you be taking the current event down a week or so before hand?

2. Can you elaborate a teeny bit more on what is planned for later in the year? When you say horizontal content...do you mean a new area ? Or just new quests and items.

3. Will OTM be redesigning other parts of the game, like you did with Heroes Landing and Stonevale? I think the Otherworld really needs to be more confusing since it is like another dimension...right? Just some place that people will be spending a huge amount of time in. Changing Heroes Landing is nice, and it looks amazing, but people only spend what, 10-15 minutes there? Could your next location be a place where people spend 40+ hours? Like the Otherworld or Carrowmore?

1. Very soon! Open Beta will be ending shortly then it is just a case of fixing bugs, implementing feedback then release!

2. Why not both? More details in a future Community Update!

3. I imagine in time all areas will get a refresh, even Crookback got a small one. With future updates we plan to add in more story quests as well so areas may need to change to accommodate this.

I think it is funny when people say you can not level to 200+ without buying plat... I have a 227 rogue, 190 mage and a ranger up and coming and have never bought plat towards leveling. I bought plat one time and it was $25 I got for my birthday, gone in 10 minutes and all the profit I used on sigils xD

I know people who have leveled to 220 without frozen armor... I know people who have leveled to 228 and never bought plat. It is not impossible. just have to know the right people and spend a little more time

Buying plat is the same as saying using lix. When people say you can't do something without buying plat, it means you can't do it without plat items - whether they are lix or pots or idols. I also leveled to 200 without literally "buying plat", but I had to use a whole lot of lix to get there.
You can level to whatever level you want without buying plat. You cannot do it without using plat items.

You don't need quest armour to be a high level. You just need lix and gold to buy shop armour and lux.

One other question. OTM used to do weekly or bi-weekly community updates/info on what is going on. Is there any specific reason why it was stopped? If not, is there any chance it could be restarted?

At the moment i am level 219 never spent anything on plat and here i am with only my dl legs and gloves which were only given to me at level 210+. Wish i had a dl set by now!!! Very depressing!
