Re: Expansion 4 Beta Applications REOPENED

Ok for us gnoobs who have never done a beta but areconsidering applying can.some veterans tell us a lil bout how it works/what it is like/time commitment/etc?

There is very little downtime, as in a build is almost always live. However there sometimes is downtime in the build you are testing...like Beta Build 1 goes up, everyone devours the content posts a slew of bugs and then while trying to keep testing eventually hits a point where it all seems quite tested...and then you wait for Build 2 to come in with some things fixed, some things changed, some things the same and retest both old and new bugs all over again... and use that downtime between to talk in beta forums about your thoughts and what could be made better, different.

My point is: like anything its about what you put into it. If you sign up, expect to be there for the events and the things they specifically ask you and others to test for...but also I didn't put on my application I was free 7 days a week. I was honest about what days and times I could give to beta, I would suggest you do the same.
