In celebration of the 2012 Olympics which are currently happening in London, I thought it might be nice to run a small Olympic-themed competition here on the forums.

The competition is very simple, in that all you have to do is guess the answer to the following question:

What country will top the medals table at the end of the Olympics, and how many medals IN TOTAL will they have?

And that's it!

The person who correctly guesses the answer will win a Super Combination Elixir for 1 of their characters. If more than 1 person guesses the correct answer, the person who answered first will receive the prize. In the event of no-one guessing the correct answer, the person with the closest guess will receive the Elixir, and again in the case of a tie between people the person who posted first will win.

A couple of things I should point out. Firstly, the way the medals table works means that the team who has the most medals may not end up top of the table. For example, at the moment Kazakhstan are above Germany in the medals table, even though Germany have 22 medals whilst Kazakhstan only have 7. The reason Kazakhstan are higher is because they have more Gold medals.

So, when you are guessing the answer to the question, keep in mind that the country with the largest number of medals may not be top of the table.

Secondly, you can only enter this competition once. Duplicate entries will not be counted when the competition ends, and only your first post will count as an entry. To help with this, please ensure you post the name and World of the character you would like to receive the Elixir.

Entries which do not include a character name and World will not be valid.

The competition will close at 13.00pm forum time on Friday 10th August.

And a very small country in Europe, one of the smallest in the world, the Netherlands, will end up in the Top 10!

I think the USA will pull it out with 97 medals.

I feel this way because we are in outdoor games now and China won all theirs on precision based events. US has a better chance to win more medals IMO.

China will win with 80medals
