As I said before, every day this isn't in game, we will continue to hemorrhage players.

Thx guys, but the thing is they could just release a separate update (3.1) for the mail system right now, then come out with the full update 4 later on. Why hasn't this been done?

Sorry but someone will always find something to quit on. Blaming the lack of a Mail system is like asking for a bandaid to cover a GSW. What if Pedobear (in your link) wanted to Borrow money instead? It sounds like he was trusted by your friend... In clan, it's not uncommon for people to borrow 20K to open quigley. What will the mail system do for that? Mail them the 20K??? Just recently, a formerly "trustworthy" player in rhiannon turned and sold stuff that people loaned to him. Again, Mail system won't do unfathomable for that situation.

Well if u read the link and posts, he didnt just let him "borrow" or "hand out" the gold. It was a transfer(most likely) and instead of the transfer being complete, he got scammed.

Now if the mail system was in place he could have sent his alt the gold and none of this would be happening.

P.S. This isn't the first case of this happening!!! I ve seen way to many friends quit because of being scammed on transfers.

Your right, but it would solve half the problem.

Two common ways scamming happens is over borrowing or transfers. If transfers can be knocked out, it still covers at least half the hole.

Plus transfers are more urgent for the player since the player needs to have it done, while borrowing is not needed by the lender. The lender has less reason to want to lend vs. needing to get a transfer. Am I making sense?

In other words, out of the two, I think transfers are where more people get scammed.

Well that's also the problem!!! I the link all he talks about is how you don't know who to trust and even if there ur best friend on the game, they can still scam, if we have mail system this takes care of that!
