I play a spear based ranger and I'm wondering what is the absolute best spear in the game? I only use spears and find them wonderful. They have gotten me to level 117 and I'm killing trees and golems with ease. I'm currently using a diamond spear. I have seen and have had opportunities to purchase Icelord and Winterking spears which have more damage than store bought spears, but the speed that they have is so incredibly slow ( 5000 range) that it negates any benefit to the higher damage. So long story short is there a spear with higher damage while keeping a reasonable speed out there that is better than a diamond spear?

There might be some otherworld drops like obsidian and stuff

I believe the aggy tridents are classified as spears.

I would say the void trident of wraith would be one of the top spears. Sorry I can't remember the exact stats but I believe there has been a pic posted on the forums .

Actually, I think the trident has better dps.

The dps is also affected by dex bonus and spear ability bonus, as more actual hits will increase average damage per attack.

But then again, the trident of celery is best suited for vegetarians.
