how to do quest 'the chessmen?'

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DO THE QUEST THE CHESSMEN? IM GOING CRAZY TRYING TO FIND THE STUPID CHESSPIECES AND ALL IVE FOUND ARE 2 QUEENS AND 3 BISHOPS! IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE TO FIND THEM PLZ PLZ PLZ SAY!

You have to kill the different chessmasters found throughout lirs reach and the crookback/catacombs areas eventually you'll get the pieces they don't have any order they're all random drops it's fairly easy to do just a tiny bit time consuming if you're a lower lvl. Hope this helps

Dont worry about that quest honestly, its a waste of time you can be spending doing other quest, the xp is like 40 and the gold is like 10 for completeing and u get a helm but it looks nothing more than a 20g splint helm or whatever you would buy in the village. i learned the hard way

The xp is around 3k if you do it lower level.
Crookback drops the lower chess pieces.

You can find chess masters in...
crookback
flintrock camp (where u get finger)
northern pennisula
catacombs
on hill behind village/temple
if you see a chess apprentice placeholder u need to kill him to get the master.
