I didn't know whether to put this in rangers or warriors since it's about both so I'll let admin decide..
Alright, so today I was trying dueling against warriors as a ranger ranging from lv. 100-120 (I'm 115) and when I start to actually get some combos in (longshot, bolas, heal) they start to say things like I'm a wuss, I'm a cheater, it's like..isn't 500 armor without stance cheating? (I say this jokingly) Where is our leverage, are we just supposed to STAND there and let you kick our butts? And pre-nerf I healed 567 in duels and now I heal a bit over 200..and they still say I'm ''cheating''? It's a ranger's only way of winning a duel and I actually only won 2/3 of the duels because one of the guys whipped out an onyx hammer and did 800 dmg on me at the end..(Killing me in two or three hits) I'm sure non-warriors/rangers will read this so post your thoughts..so the question is, is it unfair/cheating for a ranger to use bolas and heal in a 1v1?

yup yup!
if using bolas in a duel was cheating then why do you even have the skill?
nothing in a duel is considered cheating
except maybe the noob tactic in arena where a druid casts vines and swarm and then uses mount to speed away
and mages can do same thing with firebolt/ice shard/other skills

Druids are at a massive disadvantage in pvp.

Thats essentially no different then using bolas to keep the enemy from hitting you. They are both using skills and running away to damage you while they can't be hit. Not supporting either, just pointing out they are practically the same.

Rangers that bolas the enemy, run, heal, hit, and repeat are definately annoying, but its completely fair. Its bad form on their part to get angry because of that.

except everything in this game should be BEATABLE
if your vines/swarm is maxed then this tactic is UNBEATABLE
bolas requires recasting every several seconds or so and costs mana, skills points, and time to cast
running away on a broomstick just requires two spells and youre good to go as long as you have enough hp to survive 2-3 hits from an enemy and as long as you dont suck at running away (which i might add is actually pretty hard)

I don't get it.
why would a ranged fighter be forced to stand there and let melee fighters kick their ass when their ranged attacks are their main advantage over melee fighters?
why would a mage be forbidden to use eshield when they hav paper armor?
why would a druid be forbidden to use natures touch when their soul purpose in game is to heal?
Things just don't make sense sometimes...
