We can guess that there will be, especially because with the new engine coming out they might give us a little love and throw double plat at us with the engine release.

I doubt they will anytime soon. With the new event coming out people will buy plat regardless of double plat or not. No reason to cut profits in half

It would actually be interesting to see the stats - the balance between cutting profits from platinum in half and the number of new players buying platinum because of the sale.

Yea, I bet OTM would be ahead to have a double plat sale once the excitement from the new stuff is over. If people are buying platinum so they can get a new event mount ect. they might as well pay double
