Trading Question

If I did a trade with a player
And gave him a Item of Almost (I gave him a more expensive Item) Equal Shop Value
And he wants that item back must I return it?
(Note I Gave said player a Arcane Dagger of Haste [375k From Luxury Shop]
In Exchange for Fiery Axe [350k From Luxury Shop]
NOTE2 HE ASKED FOR THE TRADE AND DID NOT ASK FOR ME TO GIVE BACK
So Said Player wishes for the axe back And I'm wondering Am I breaking any rules if I do not return said item?
EDIT:: He asked for the item The next day if I didn't make it clear
EDIT2:: He did not ask me to make any such promises to give it back if he did not like the Arcane Dagger
