Quoting the OP

It's not necasarry to quote the op when you are one of the first to respond to the thread. If a thread has derailed its also not needed, a simple "to the op" will do. This tends to have a domino effect where the thread is full of quoted responses all dealing with the original topic of the thread.
Am i the only one botherd by this?
I already know what the first reply to this topic is gonna be.....

The larger the op thread being quoted the bigger annoyance. Why make me scroll more than I have too I guess. I shower, unfathomable, shave in 6 min flat. I like my forum posts nice an tidy. I usually read them while on the john. As previously stated I'm not on there for long
