I've only just realized that I haven't played this game for 2 1/2 years, suffice to say I've missed a few things.

Pretty sure most of the "old" players no longer play CH (at least on Herne) however maybe a few of you remember who I am - I'm a lvl86 warrior named Chloe, if that rings any bells.

I haven't played since sometime in 2013 - when the otherworld was just added. Not sure what to do now other than level up a bit; completing quests for things like the astral armour is out of the question at this point.

Also currently my loadout is geared towards a DPS warrior - should I rearrange everything for a tank warrior? I do have two books of rebirth and three books of alteration, so there's lots of room for editing.

we are literally going through the exact same thing.
Im lvl 84 warrior that is an old player.
Due to what you missed, tanking isnt needed anymore till at least lvl 150? the new lvl soft cap is around 230 i believe.

She said she stopped playing in 2013, not started playing. She's been a player since 2011 as well.

Anyways back to the OP: I would suggest of course joining a clan on your world that can help guide you. If none are available then the task is simple. Level as you normally would in the Otherworld, and then when you reach a comfortable level, you can begin killing boggans in the Carrowmore Tunnels. By the time you reach boggans hopefully you'll have a clan that will walk you through the rest, but if you remember where the eyes, trees, kelpies, golems, and wraiths are then your good to go. I wouldn't suggest buying the event luxury unless your adamant about spending lots of money, whereas you can work hard to buy level 100 luxury in the Carrowmore Tunnels or you can, if you remember, buy luxury from the wraith at the start of the Otherworld.

Hopefully you'll meet new friends along the way in Herne and they'll help you even more than we can over the forums
