Muldar,
Will the fishing update bring changes to the current bounty token system? Specifically, will there be a trade up option where red tokens can be traded up for green and purple?

Thanks for answering.

There is not currently a trade up system for the Fishing Update but the token drop rate for Boons and Prizes have been increased.

I'm sure the Design Team have considered player feedback for the token drop rate system, I myself have discussed it with them many times.

As Dexxa has previously discussed the rate is implemented for specific reasons which can be found in his previous posts but that does not mean they are not willing to change in future.

I did also say there is not a token trade up system for the fishing update currently, that is not to say there will not be one ever.

OTM doesnt want a trade up system because that would reduce players dependency on plat itemss chests to get their pet tokens. If that isnt obvious by now, or you think OTM will actually do something like this in the future, you are kidding yourself.

There needs to be changes as pets are just infuriating players proportionally to how much money they spent. Even if there is a cost to recycling, pets need to be able to be traded for new pets.

I think there is a balance to be had where OTM could actually make more money by allowing players to earn them more easily, as it is the satisfaction is too low and this hurts the bottom line.

Charge too much for pets and OTM makes less money, charge too little and they lose money. There is a sweet spot but it should be obvious they overshot it and it's too expensive/time consuming.
