I had a question about the beta sign up. Note: I've pm'ed a admin with no response back yet so hopefully I get around this.
The new beta sign up forum says no @yahoo addressees which I don't understand.
it also says use the email linked to your apple App Store account. Obviously for TestFlight. What if the email attached to your App Store account is a yahoo email? No beta for you? This is the case with me.

Yahoo emails will not receive the test flight email, thus the ban on yahoo addresses. I suggest you make a gmail address. You can change your Apple Store email to that gmail account for the purpose of beta. To do that, go to iTunes and App Store under your device settings, select your Apple ID, then click view ID, after entering your password you will get the option to change your email which will take you to a webpage where you can do just that. Voila you can now participate in the beta.

Always confused me because I once used the wrong email that wasnt my apple ID email and it still worked xD

Essentially yes, Yahoo addresses do not receive Testflight notifications, no idea why must just be how they process Apple emails.

If you are testing on Android the email address is less of a requirement (Although I would advise against @Yahoo in general)

Ty muldar. I swapped my Apple ID to a gmail adresss and reapplied with that. Hoping that works.
