How do I put points into mount/pet/fishing?

How do I put skill points into the following as I don’t seem to be able to do it?

Those are increased as you level up/breed your pet/mounts.

So if I just keep using them they will level to 2/1 etc?

Dog will stay at skill 5 until you get the next level up dog. So say your dog is level 2, it’s skill won’t change until level 3. The only thing that’ll raise is your dog taming agility, which increases the amount of damage that level 5 skill will do.

for pets/mounts you have to breed them up to a max level of 6.
For fishing you upgrade your rod through the fishing quests.
the 5/0 2/0 and 6/0 is a bit misleading, because the 0 doesn't actually mean anything. It may be a placeholder for something OTM couldn't code uniquely for skills you can't upgrade. you can take it to mean that you can't put points into these skill like you do your normal skills by leveling up. These skills are entirely gear dependent.
