Nobody needs a Mage

So a clan member announces chained king and My Mage runs to help. I'm number 5 on the scene and instead of joining me I get,
"hey don't you have a Druid, we need a Druid."
"yes but he is only 80 level with a 600 heal"
"ok that would be more useful"
"ouch that hurts"
"I mean for this group"
So I use my other iPad and get my Druid there.
So what happens. They join other players and both my toons sit there and watch. While working the periodic add.
Sad. And from clan members.

I hear ya, Papi.
I don't have that problem in-clan, because my small clan has clearly seen the benefit of lures on making kills go much faster (in addition to helping tank keep aggro). But out of clan, even with good friends, I get no priority. I chalk it up to the scarce number of high-level mages--they just haven't seen the benefit firsthand yet.
Oh, if only there were more Pigmen...

Yea, my clan has the most powerfull Mage on the server and a number of spots in the top ten. But it seems that level 120 is the magic number to be considered useful.

i dont have a mage, but I can sympathize on having a druid alt that is deemed more useful than my rogue main. When I do use my rogue in boss fights, I sometimes have to leave group if the group is full since I dual box my rogue and druid.
For me, feel like the level to be is 125+ because then I would be able to get my frozen dagger and deal some serious damage!

That sucks! I think healing the tank is definitely important and I would not take it personally if they needed help keeping the tank alive.
A lot of people don't see the full value of a good mage because they are uncommon. On my server there are only a half dozen that are over 120.

I know exactly what you men Papi. However, the higher up's in my clan realize what my lures can do for them. On grinding Wyverns on elix's, I can nearly double the number of kills they can get in 15 minutes. In boss fights, I can so some tanking as well as some DPS, in addition to my lures helping lots. I also have the advantage of being a General in my clan, and get lots of invites normally.
We have only like 3 high level Mages in Sulis, over lvl 140. All in my clan. I am just very happy we have our lures. Without them, then we would never be invited to fights, lol.
