Agreed. Not sure how can someone do that through a text, if u cant face the girl when asking her out how can u face her in a date?

Just go with Armo's suggestion, I think every girl is different so u cant really do the same on everyone, u know her the best between all of us.

Second thing, if she is with some of her friends, go with some of yours, if she is alone, you will need to go alone too. Nothing is more intimidating than five guys walking up to you while your alone asking you out.

I think it depends purple. On the personality of the girl, how close you are, how old you are, etc. Just for the record, I don't even think you should be dating until you are least have a drivers license. Other wise, whats the point? But as for whether you should ask a girl out over text? I definitely think that depends. Some girls might be fine with it. Especially if you are close already. Like if she is practically you best friend, and you just send a quick text saying, "Hey XXXX, you wanna catch a movie tonight?", and you know she will have no problem with it, then go for it. However, you have to know the girl. Which, if you are at the point where you want to ask them out, you probably do.
