Re: Question about outer space

If you suggest another earth the closest one is light hears away by the time we develop a rocket that can go that fast it will be too late.. I don't think overpopulation will be a problem. Nature has solved that before (Black Death/Bubonic Plague ,Aids etc.) Its almost if some have to die.. If baby mommas would stop producing so much maybe that would solve half of our problems. Its called morals lol

back on topic here- Idc doesn't bother me if it is or isn't that's my two cents

Apparently space never stops growing so technically is infinite
It might not be, our visible universe is expanding but that is cos it expands faster than light, it could be shrinking and we would think it is growing because from our perspective, it is expandin

Very insitefull... With our limited knowledge theres many things we just simply we have to guess... Or make theory's (smart way of guessing) man is always attracted to the 'unknown'

-facepalm- Dude. Nature can't stop this. We will all die if we don't stop overpopulation. It will cause a massacre. Weren't you totally against death before? Yet here you are, allowing the massacre of billions. Yet you care about only eight million people?
Here is my view on the matter... Live life man. No need to worry about something that really doesn't matter. Am I correct does it really matter? Instead of worrying about the boundaries of space wasting billions of dollars on useless info with expensive telescopes. Why not put it towards curing Cancers or if you are so interested in space inhabiting the moon if we had a nuclear war. So much more useful things scientists could focus on. Yet it is our curiosity of the Cosmos that betrays us. In the end how does this benefit us? How does this advance the human race..

What he is saying: We should kill off half the planet(3,700,000,000 people), and focus on an illness that mostly effects citizens of the upper class, rather than spend billions to save them.
Simple Solution: FIND ANOTHER DAMN PLANET!

I have heard they are planning to colonize mars by 2030, that's about 15-16 years from now. First they will go to the moon then mars. I have a book that says this but it's probably not accurate. I think overpopulation is a problem, there is tons of people in the world that are starving and forced to drink contaminated water even with wells being built and food banks, there are still people who are starving and homeless. Even with all the diseases in the world the population is steadily increasing, by 2050 there could be 9 or 10 billion people.

This is true, however great strives have been made in the food and water problem over there, and largely thanks to bill gates polio will soon be completly irradiated

What Im saying is we either Solve our Problems now.
Or let nature take care of us. Is that too hard to understand?? Maybe if one of you family members had a terminal illness you would understand why crap like this is worthless to me. If you believe in God judging by the way you talk probably not you would understand that life is just as important here as it is later on. If you don't you only live once correct? Why not worry about here and now like most agnostics believe and focus on living a life to a full extent. If overpopulation is eventually a threat to where it will kill everyone. Someone will drop a nuke. I have no worries about any of this because
A- wont affect me in my lifetime
B- Doesnt really help when you are dead
C- Ill be enjoying the life I live now and if it ends tonight so be it
D- a life is a precious thing. Both religious and non religious people can agree on that. So again live for here and now my friends
What about that is so hard to understand Dr. Professor Lines?
So again tell me what will this do for use as of now?

Going back to what I said those were to completely different discussions.. One was about expanding life of terminally ill people. Instead of wasting money on "ancient aliens" and telescopes when a child goes hungry at night.. Stuff like that to help better the human race now.

The second topic was about how Nature has been known to control population. Cancer is one of these. Tey relate because if Cancer is to be Cured that will keep lives from being ended so soon. Say a 8 year old has cancer a population controlling disease and we are able to prevent it from killing him. Id say job well done.

About overpopulation we still have Antarctica most of Russia Alaska the Outbacks Wyoming. If it got to be that bad we have plenty if room. Until people are boarding ships to Alaska I wouldnt be worried.

Let me know how the new planet is and how the rocket is going. Please keep me updated I would love to experience a real life Star Trek ship... Lol

If ur maths teacher doesn't think space is infinite. Ask him to prove it
Infinity can be proven with repeating numbers and lines.. If space is similar in the natural equation it was based upon it should be infinite. I dont think we will ever know for sure.
