I know a nice site that was made about shortly after the 3ds was released, there are some real nice people there who can teach you some about coding.
The creator known as Robdeprop invented the site specifically for the 3ds, it is mainly a chatting site of course (also available in pc form)

Anyways all I'm trying to say is I know some real nice people there who can help improve your site

Can you let people reply and make posts without an account, it seems great but for a social forum you gotta get people to post reply and be active on it, so if you can let everyone post without an account- takes a little bit of time
