I'd definitely say its worth it especially if your a dex based ranger. I mainly use longshot and sharpshot and have gear that gives me some str and points on double. Bieng primarily dex with some str has been a good build for me. I usually get most kills on bosses. I crit a lot with this build, was totally worth training abilities.

I don't understand why this is even a question. Just get it and let it go up naturally. You don't need to have it maxed on Day 1.

I had crit strike maxed on day 1 and just wanted to know others thoughts on if crit skills was worth training or letting go up naturally.

Its worth maxing as soon as you can IMO

To crit or not to crit, is that the question? If you would like your skills to do twice as much damage on occasion then yes. If you don't like to be able to do more damage then no.
