I havent group leveled since the update, but at level 143 I have had a great time solo leveling. Max sharp, longshot, light heal, camo, and sharpen weapons in a 30/525/10/260 build has been great.. Green boggans are easy and fun!

Yellow boggans arent too bad.. Does it get worse to solo up at the 150 boggans?
Looks like you made good use of that rebirth and royal sharpen weapons.
Yes! :)

Side tracking from rangers' skills, I'd like to point out that our bone armor seriously needs fixing as well. Look at the minor bone bp, it adds 60 light heal......
For a bp skill bonus, its kinda bs frankly even at 120 for ancient set. Not to forget the bone boots which adds 10 skewer damage *claps* which every ranger would use it....... Said no rangers ever!

My suggestion would be to swap the skill bonus from the bp to the gloves and increase/decrease the skill bonus accordingly. And for the boots, ill suggest the skill bonus adds barbed shot instead of skewer.

The lvl 150 boggans are not very difficult in the hallway leading up to the first room of 150-154 boggans. Those tend to be a little bit more challenging seeing as there are more mobs to aggro and more stars to their lvl but all in all it is much easier to solo unlike in update 3.

Any comments from people who have tried out the changes?

Surprised to see we got another new skill, could be a godsend for strength rangers with awesome gear if it takes base damage and multiplies it by two! I dont know how it works though..

The "new skill" isn't that new , it's the same as the existing skill but for ranged attackers. It's more of a bug fix than a buff tbh

Changes i have noticed in the small time i spent after the patch:

Rapid shot is now about as fast as it was in update 3 but still has the new fixed cooldown of 1 min (timed this myself). So not really a buff up considering the skill still, overall, has been made less useful compared to how it was in update 3.
Light heal heals slightly more now, but the update gave it a longer cast time, cooldown and made it more iterruptable; so i guess that kind of balances it out. Would have preffered it how it was in update 3 though.

Overall, nothing significantly different from before the patch. Sharp shot and longshot still don't do nearly as much damage as they should. Rapid still useless unless maxed.

The new skill provided isn't so much a new skill but rather a fix to ranged double attack.

I like the idea of raising the strength plateau for rangers some instead of coming up with new skills. As noted in the OP, we already have skills which take many points in order to be effective at all. Making longshot more powerful or increasing the time effect of rapid shot would be okay. I was underwhelmed by the adjustment to rapid shot with today's patch.
