Yup, rapid shot is 50% haste which is why I do not consider this skill great for end game players due to the availability with 60% heroic haste elixers.

The best auto ranger skills are: Bolas (39/40), Double shot (39/40), Steady aim (40/40), Sharpen weapons (40/40), I personally find light heal a better option than a maxed rapid due to what I stated earlier, while camo skill is a complete waste when you can buy a 50 camo mount.

We could use some STR based skills so I can finally swap light heal for a decent DPS skill.

If yu want to get a crafted shortbow just run around killing stuff. However at least the frozen bow has a shorter speed, if not the dl bow.

Okay reality check here people. Bow speed... I don't know about dl bow but frozen bow has a speed of 1950...

Finally found the frozen speed. No, frozen is 2900, not 1950. Crafted Shortbow is much faster.

Ugh. Well idk about that. But obviously one's memory gets foggy on the little things after so much time away from game.

Anyone ever tried the equivalent of the rogue Cruel knife build with ranger? (I.e. Lower damage, purely elemental, super fast hits)

Just curious if it would even be worth trying. Fastest bow I've found so far is Crafted Shortbow. 10 pierce, 2000 attack speed. Not even close to the cruel knife speed, but with pure dex build, maxed rapid, sharpen, steady, long and sharp, midnight or annihilation ammy (or bloodthorn set)... May be interesting

Rapid makes it fast no matter what! Try a bow like ymir or something and use rapid. The speed is unbelievable and the damage is enormous You're wasting your time using rapid + short bow since rapid shot sets all bows to the same attack speed!

Actually camo isn't a waste. During long boss fights it'll help u not pull in adds and f urself over.-.

Its a waste when you can have a more useful skill there for bossing. No need for camo if you can get a 50% camo mount. Adds are meant to be dealth with as well.

Just shows the sad state of endgame rangers when we become more auto oriented with just a few quality skills.
