Were you ever able to observe how high your sharpshot was hitting with lure on mord and necro?

What caused you to change to str build- do you find yourself getting kill more frequently with str than you did as dex? Or is it mostly to save e lix and pots?

no i wasnt able to observe my sharpshot as i went str before you could see only self dmg, havent gone back to dex yet.

i changed to str build because i got a royal oblivion ring (80 str vit 800 bow), a imp dmg attack war brace, skain blood set, an dex attack helm and a grand oblivion ring (50 str vit 500 bow), and yes i get kills more frequent now

Would like to know what kind of gear do your rogues use? Do you have EDL quiver, did you get kill over EDL rondel rogues?

we had 1 edl rondel rogue, that no one would overlap with his/hers dl rondel, im not sure what his other gear was like

Im a full dex endgame ranger and its true life sucks and is much harder.

First you hage to wear all occult armoe which means no skill points from armor (besides hrung sharp helm i have).l, whixh means basically -40 or so skill points.

Then you need almost every piece of regen gear to regen (i have 1500 sigils but it takes way to long since the sigil/heal nerf). I used to take the time to sigil and heal someone or myself but otm ruined that quite fast.

I also have 4 hotbars that i swap to for various skill dmg bonuses (beastbone gloves, godly sharpshot charm, longshot cooldown charm, rings and bracers.

Now i like playing my dex ranger but it seems the effort required is 10x more, with only 2x. The effect. In short fights I can hold my own but i never expect to outdmg a str ranger? How can u when they have 40 extra skill points, need no regen gear, and can focus on dmg/attack items, while the piddly dex ranger is worried about keeping gear to max skills and regen at the same time?

Adding a grp energy regen spell or even a good one like mages have for personal use would free up many slots for the dex ranger to utilize on other stats

Were you in the same group as the rogue?

It's hard to get kills outside of group, you have to not die the entire time or your damage resets and lately since the tower update you need to do a lot more damage then anyone in the lock group or it will just register there damage towards the kill and ignore everyone's outside the lock group

Mamba is actually very educated on all classes and knows more then most rangers so i would say he is in a position to make suggestions and you should keep your personal issues against him for whatever reason they are in private

First time i got necro kill i was in rogue group to sharpen them, but after a while we ditched sharpen for rogues as we were able to kill necro within 15 mins with 22 people, and filled rogue groups with 1 druid 7 rogues

I brought this up already and to seems no one is paying it any mind. Necro is immune to poison dmg. So a rogue that uses poison weapons and shadow strike, which is a likely possibility, will have those two skills nerfed at a necro fight reducing their dps. Even more so if they use a poison offhand. Ofc, they may keep that in mind and change accordingly, but I think necro has been up and downed enough times that clans can kill him with relative ease. So they may not switch u every couple days to raid. I don't think you can accurately compare vs. necro for this reason. I'm sure people will continue to do so, but I think it is an avenue worth the thought.

Mordy or necro most the time ranger gets kill. But honestly it's not who gets the kill that matters it is that's said boss died. The true issue is the horrid loot table
