I have around 550 hp sigils and will light heal be really that useful for me? Have 1400 Health

Up to you since you got that much sigils. Rather use the extra skill points for another skill or so. However, light heal would be good to use in the midst of battle since sigils don't work then.

I usually have max light heal even if i am currently a Str build. Training is cheaper and I can attack harder Mobs (more Exp) and Bosses (for the drops).

But if you are training in an area where you get great Experience per Mob and you can almost survive without a heal it might be better to just use a Resto in each fight to get more from the Elix AND get kills faster with an extra damage skill or buff.

Of course if you never need to heal then obviously don't use Light Heal. Or if you have oodles of Restos !!

This is just my experience at my level. End game players may feel differently.

Light heal is usefull always

I agree with Hawkye, light heal is always useful regardless of str or dex build, although obviously its better with dex. Its also probably my favorite ranger skill, there is several light heal boosters out there too, the rings from last halloween event, as well as the misc charms from last beltane. Who knows, maybe this beltane will have good ones too o.0.

By the way, im lvl 175 and my heal is usually 1542, but I can replace my haste ring with a halloween skill effect boosting ring to make it 1577. And although it isnt as fast cd as natures touch, it still makes a pretty large difference at bosses.. Now, granted that is with pretty much all my gear helping light heal in one way or another, but light heal is still a very good skill.

I absolutely love this skill. My ranger is only level 146, but his max light heal is 1128!

I think, like many skills in this game, it depends on what you are doing.

My level 173 ranger primarily just levels at this point - no bossing. If I am soloing on her with bolas, I rarely use it. If I am soloing on her without bolas, I use it a lot to heal myself. If I am xping with a druid, I rarely use it. If I am xping with a rogue who is tanking the mobs, I use it a lot to heal the rogue.

Overall, I find it quite useful.
