Anyone ever tried the equivalent of the rogue Cruel knife build with ranger? (I.e. Lower damage, purely elemental, super fast hits)

Just curious if it would even be worth trying. Fastest bow I've found so far is Crafted Shortbow. 10 pierce, 2000 attack speed. Not even close to the cruel knife speed, but with pure dex build, maxed rapid, sharpen, steady, long and sharp, midnight or annihilation ammy (or bloodthorn set)... May be interesting

Rapid makes it fast no matter what! Try a bow like ymir or something and use rapid. The speed is unbelievable and the damage is enormous You're wasting your time using rapid + short bow since rapid shot sets all bows to the same attack speed!

They dont get set to the same attack speed. The Onyx and Obsidian bow are not the equivalent speed as others with rapid shot. Rapid shot probably reduces bow and spear speed by 40-50%.

True, they do not get set to the same attack speed. The Shortbow is faster unrapid than my Adamant bow is on rapid.

Yeah but is 0001 the best weapon speed possible by the games constraints assuming better haste gear was available? Or is there like a cap around 1000

Rapid as in rapid shot? I thought it was 50%, while heroic hastes being 60%.

You are correct sir. Haste ring < haste elixir <rapid shot < heroic haste (30,40,50,60)

No rapid is 60% while heroic haste is 70 or 80%, super haste and rapid are same speed. And normal haste lix is same as haste ring
