Gold isn't even a good representation of wealth, an extremely large chunk of my worth is in my items. Anyways since when was it a good idea to attack someone asking for help for absolutely no reason?

I beg to differ. I have 6k gold right now and here are all the lixes I had time to unpack a few weeks ago. If you truly think gold=wealth you are mistaken. Works the same in real life, $ =/= wealth, if you have millions in assets, stocks, etc you are much wealthier than the guy with nothing but $100k.

I'd trade all my mills for the Lix equivilent Id rather items I can use than useless gold sitting in invent looking shiny and pretty

You made a good purchase, I'm a rogue but bought the 1.5m vit ammy from vendor, the added armour is actually really useful, it's easy for warrior to add armour but not for a rogue,
Rogues can point up dex from vit to add attack/defence but you can't add points to armour without gear.
I have my own reasons why an it works perfectly fine for me, added armour, skill armour add with an armour lix dying before locking is detrimental
