Hello Rogues of all worlds,
I need some help with gear choosing as I somehow cant get raid boss kills over our rangers. Not talking about getting prot kills as rangers have natural advantage here, but other bosses like hrung, mord and necro are getting killed by rogues in other worlds regularly so it should be possible.

Id appreciate any ideas on what to improve in general and what needs to be replaced first.

My current gear:
Full edl set
Edl weapons
Runic valour ammy
Imperial sneaky recast Charm
Imperial and mighty prot attack braces (both str/vit)
2 runic valour rings
Runic haste Ring
Divine dmg Ring, hotswapping with an imperial renegades Ring (SS one)

Skills:
Qs 50/50
Sneaky 50/50
SS. 50/50
PW 50/50
Rend 45/50
Rest in smoke bomb

Do your rangers have DG pieces?

Skain/gara sets are also really strong if you can grab one.

You’re also lacking a mord helm and any necro dagger rings.

Stop casting smoke bomb, it cuts your autos
Keep divine permanently and swap ridge with valor
If you don't have rend at 50, drop it for double attk

Try to get any attack mord helm
Bloodset(or venom dmg charm+ring) is unstoppable on mord/hrung
Time your Spites instead of half assing it

1. Our Rangers have none/gloves only DG

2. Is it worth swapping a royal rend ring to max it out or nah

3. Should i drop the haste ring for ss ring all the time when hasted



Edit: forgot to mention i use maxed out bear as mount and maxed out rabbit as pet. Working in getting a Spider maxed rn

If your skills arent maxed so yeah it worth hotswapping rings or ammy to max it.
I tried to use rend and i didnt liked it so i suggest you to max sneaky, ss, qs, and double attack at lvl 42 and then you can use poisen wep as your last maxed skill or expose if no one in your clan use it ( i use it and it helps a lot )

And no dont use your royal ss over the haste ring since the haste ring still adds 400 attack and 50 dmg so judt hotswap it

Necro blood rings replace valour any day, majestic ones adds 30 less str but adds more damage, more attack and slightly less hp so I would upgrade to them if u can’t get royal or above.

U want to outdps those nub rangers so any dps counts id get a wolf battle mount, skill is op and then u can ditch rabbit cause the focus will make ure energy more sustainable and get spider( skill is useless at necro)

Can’t see ure stats so can’t make further suggestions
( jealous of ure recast charm there’s only a few royals on my Server)

Why?

STR with enough health is the way to go.

I tested this build against a couple of rogues with full doch who run the metrosexual high dex or hybrid build over Gelebron, Mord and Necro.

I pretty much get the kill 99% of the time, the only times I don't is when I'm AFK.
