Mage DG vs Warrior DG

Which class benefits more from a DG set? Warrior or Mage? If I choose to go DG mage should I even try to be a DPS warrior?
Both classes are gonna be better with DG, but imo the warrior would benefit more. Purely because the warrior edl armour doesn't give any bonuses to their dps (apart from the skill points), so the added Heat Dmg and Strength/Dex stat boosts make them a competitive dps at EG.
I don't think you'd be able to compete with other DG classes as a non DG dps warrior.
