1 hand weapon, or 2 hand weapon?

So can anyone give me tips or advice, on which kind of weapons is best, for a dps and a tank? Because some say 2 handed weapons are good for tanks... Thanks for your feedbacks!

No. 1 handed weapons are better for tanks because you can equip a shield with your offhand.
In terms of DPS i would still say 1 hand because you can again have an offhand such as the diamond ones or a golden axe of carnage.
Unless you would like to go out and try to kill people in a 1 hit in which case you would use a 2h weapon because it delivers more damage but at a slower rate which is why I do not prefer it for DPS. Also now that skill casting is affected by the weight of your sword I just don't like using a 2h wep unless its for PVP and I have a reliable amount of health.

well at first i believed 2 handed weapons were better when i was a nube but you really need an offhand. my current setup was ancient falchion and golden axe of carnage but now im with ancient falchion and anvient kite sheild.

1 handed every time, it just allows you more options for what to do with the other hand and too be honest warriors have enough armour to take a few hits, so no need for quick one hit kills - which i doubt happens very much now since update..
I currently have golden bodkin of spirits when levelling and when bossing mighty crown shield of spirits - works great with new update setups.... enjoy warrior, think once all abilities and skills are sorted we should be a class to be reckoned with... but until this mages and rangers kick @ss....

I've tried all 3 methods -- two handed, two weapon and weapon and shield. Here are my thoughts on all of them.
* Two Handed - This is too slow to be my option. I do have a two-handed weapon (Diamond Crusher) that I use in boss fights when someone else tanks. Does a bit more damage.
* Two Weapon - Not a big fan. The added passive damage simply isn't worth giving up the protection.
* Weapon and Shield - This is my 'go to'. One handed weapons are faster, plush you get the benefit of being able to use shield bash, extra protection -- and HP/Energy regen if you have the right shield. As a note, pummel doesn't take weapon damage into account - so a pummel with a small .Vs big weapon is the same.
If you have one, I'd suggest weapon and shield.
