Dps build good for dueling?

I have a dps build (285 vit 620 str) and am the best pvper for my lvl. can i do better in pvp with with a tank build? or a hybrid? or what?

I've always held the more tanky type of build for pvp, never was one to try the Dps build for Pvp. Could send a pic of what I run if you're interested. I won't go to the point of being best for my level but im kinda notorious for being alright in duels.

I dont really like pvp all that much (except for griefing Daisey) but my observation is that hybrid build, more tank than DPS works very well.
