who remembers the good ol days back when everything was less expensive... when we were a ks world... when versus owmed taranis... when Kronic was still alive... when DivineForce was still alive... who remembers everyone fighting over Falg... camping to get him as soon as he spawns on that hour timer... now... its bad. i mean before not everyone got along that well, but now its even worse, especially with plat prices... it used to be 2.5k for an alt, 5k for a rebirth, 8k for a super combo, 2k for a super know, now its 5k for alt like 10k for reb and i dont even know for the elixers...

honestly... would you rather be then? or now? i would rather be then, less jags and scammers and overpriced plat sellers... all the prices were set in stone unless there was an "auction"...

Lol i remember things being more expensive, i remember finishing my stonewall quest after killing fal and getting my reb book then selling it straight after for 20k. I also remember when you only got 3 hot bar slots :|

I was divine force at the time then i remember fab and noob leaving to join versus. I ditched my warrior and went to my druid who is my main now i lvled up to around 70 and joined versus who was under the leadership of the great vedranox. Later disbanded to form Paradox which i joined as well that became disbanded as well. Some people went to pride (newly created) and illum. I went to pride later and stayed for a while but it just wasnt my cup o tea. Left and went joint smaller clans, KoA, ante and solo, now I've joined pillars which has been excellent!

I miss those days i miss the way things looked all the energy and excitement,the glitches in the beach and castle walls we all felt like the game was so...innovative, funny how 2 years change ppls perspective.

I wouldn't really call it less expensive. Dragon disc were like 100k back then which was a lot, really a lot for the current gamers back that era.
As for plat items, its basically twice of what you mentioned which really isn't that bad? 2.5k to 5 k for a alt book as compared to the gold you can potentially get from item drops and boss gold fights nowadays is neglectable

It was definitely very intense and yet exciting to see the big clans back then camping and fight it out with Fal. It was all about rogues with their fancy winter / ice lord daggers. Show off!

I do agree CH back then was very different to as to CH now. Granted game mechanics and gear are the most significant changes, I am more about the general players. We didn't have much plat sellers in that era and hardly anyone uses elixirs to level. It was all about down to earth grinding. Granted it was slower this way, you do get to see more legitimate players and honest players whereas nowadays you can frequently see complete strangers with end game levels shooting up ultra fast.

I guess I would say I too prefer CH back then as it was:
1) New to me, full of promises and excitement. (Wow 6s Iron spike is so.. BIG!! etc)
2) Essentially CH was still a developing game back then. So the updates / festivals were refreshing.(Now its pretty much a developed product with silly to mill line extensions.)
3) Come to think of it, I may have been happier back then as I was pretty much carefree. Nobody gives a unfathomable of Morphmarfa back then. Some noob druid always solo bashing SV mobs?? I could simply log in and do watever I wan and not care of any thing else. But ofc, with time, I levelled up + reputation shot up and.. "with great power comes great responsibility etc etc "

Ofc, not to say I didn't have fun with the *now* version of CH, its been a long journey and I am glad I was introduced to Celtic Heroes. Being my first MMO, I have met, played, cursed ( ), laughed with tons of ppl, some I can even call really good online gaming friends.

In short, in the gaming world of CH in Taranis,
" I have seen the world, done it all, had my cake now"
Granted I have not killed Mordis but neither has Taranis

Just like to take this opportunity again in thanking each and every one of you all in giving me a wonderful experience with CH. Without you lot, the game literally will be dull and meaningless.
