Re: Was Garanak Really a Success?

There are a couple of folks with multiple sets while some have nothing. Makes us wonder how random the dice feature really is.
Dicing is never fair. Obviously the easiest way to sort out drops, but dont expect a fair distribution The only time it will work for this boss is if you disallow prior set winners from rolling, but then you likely wont find them participating anymore, except for a select few who still have the disposition or ethos to keep helping the server get geared after theyre done, and frankly thats rare.

I hate dicing, it is a lazy and unrewarding way of distributing drops, especially in end game clans.

No worse feeling in the world being at 3 out of 4 kills only to lose a roll to someone who shows up twice a week. All that time and effort wasted because a random virtual number dictates who wins or loses.

Unfortunately, dicing is the accepted way in Lugh. I could rant but i dont want to get too far off topic.

Thats why I suggested there could be different methods of bossing instead of having 1 giant boss for anyone to kill with little chance of reward. The armor quests for the winter event were ok but the gear wasnt as great as this.

yep dicing is definitely a horrible way to distribute loot. Not many like the idea of a dominant clan on Lugh so we can't do much. I think the best way to handle it is to restrict people from winning multiple things but nobody likes rules. Lugh sucks as far as bosses go.

Thats a far cry crom what Lugh players have been saying a few montsh ago. I thought you guys feel Lugh is a utopia because everyone are allowed to participate for bosses and have equal chances to get loot?

Garanak is so easy to defeat you don't even need to spend idols (if there is some druids)

Like everyone is at him when it spawn

If you lock him you will be happy :D
