Mage for faster leveling and druid for less resto use

Listen to this guy! He burns through restos and i get to lure some monkeys. Wait, what?
Anyway, if you have a mage with lures (and maybe cloak) you'll wreck your enemies but of course druids keep you alive longer. All up to you though.

This will be my official alt. it is going to 105 only, but I still don't know which one to go for lol.
Both very good options, but I suppose I have to waeigh out advantages and disadvantages

In conclusion. Druids score a 1 and mages score a 3. Looks like its a mage then. I would really appreciate some last minute counters seeing as I failed to mention I'm only taking it to 105 in the foreseeable future, could change though

Support Druid Solution: Buffs (with abund you can add more stats to dex/str and vit)

Weakness of your rogue: hard to press loads of buttons on two devices, and it's frusterating when mobs gang up on me
Support Druid Solution: You don't need to press many buttons on a druid, and druid's have calm (so they can keep healing you while you kill the baddies)

Support Druid Solution: Rogue kills, druid heals the rogue. Easy peasy, able to kill almost every boss.
Support Mage Solution: Try to dps it to death, if you both die then forget it.. Or ask your clan/friends for help



I did a rogue/Druid duo combination, loved it. I can give you duoing advice for it as well if you would like.

Im a lv 117 rogue, been lving with a fire mage. Its pretty good, except for when i run out of energy deep into the lix jk. But yeah. I find fire mages better, becuase they can deliver more frequent damage

After reading all i can get this conclusion: mage vs druid, just a different style of what u want: armor/hp do a druid, dmg/more dps do mage
Nothing is truely better, but as regenlief said its easier to duo druid than mage...and its, according to me a super important thing: can u handle 2 device working, or not?
Its not that easy to duo, and some people dont like this way of playing ( as me :| )
So have u ever play dual device? If no u should try while starting lvling, and see if u want to do a full dual devicing with a mage, or a litlle easier one with druid;)

Support mage or support druid to dual with a rogue?

It depends on how OP your rogue is (tank-wise). If you can survive just fine solo due to decent armor/defense, I'd say dual with mage.

If you're having trouble staying alive, definitely druid.

In my opinion, I would say mage. I am a 196 rogue at the moment, and am currently working on a mage. I believe that a mage with energy boost, assassin lure, fire lure, fire attunement, fire bolt, and firestorm would be an amazing combo to have with a rogue. Rogues have a major energy deficiency at level 180+ ( especially if they are using the new shadows over beltane event aura set bonues ) e-boost would resolve this problem. The lure of assassins would incredibly help the rogues damage against mobs, aswell as help other classes that use pierce damage. This combo at a high level could be extremely powerful!

Depends on the tanking ability of your rogue. If it can take decently, lifesteal should be more than enough to keep you alive. Then the extra dps from the mage can help finish mobs faster. The lures will also increase the rogues dps resulting in much faster kills.

A druid would be better with a less tank setup, because the rogue would be able to go more dps less tank. The druid could then heal and provide some overtime damage.

Both good choices, but I would recommend mage.

I'd also suggest mage. I'm level 161 and I've only got 2k hp and I can survive whilst leveling just fine. If I had the funds, I'd certainly start second-device mage.
