mage issues

I recently came back from quite a long break and I was wondering if it just me, but the mage's casting time seems to take longer than before. It seems longer now because following the casting time, the mage then does a sort of channelling animation before the actual spell animation. Shouldn't the mage be doing this channelling animation during the cast time so that there is no further delay?

My mage's spells seems to evade more frequently than ever. Has OTM increased the evade rate? It's so annoying (in addition with the marked fluctuation in damage).

Although I really like the new graphics, couldn't OTM have been a bit more imaginative with ice blast and ice shards animation (probably the same with fire bolt an fire storm). They still look pretty much the same.

Even without the update on android, after the server maintenance, the spells take forever and evasions are mighty. A mage's life depends on just one or two hits. Missing one can spell can be fatal. I have had up to five evasions consecutively on a mob of the same level. I can't even go stag hunting anymore.

Evades are too high for mages, makes playing one cost more plat so we will just have to deal with it. Casting IS slower now due to the animations no matter what anyone says and as said elsewhere casting a spell and quickly following it with another is buggy. Mages used to be fun, now not so much.

The evades are ridiculous. The level 20 ice heart crystals just evaded my spells 3 times in a row.
It seems every mob I attack now seems to evade at least once.
See! This is unbelievably annoying!

Yep mages got nerfed again welcome to the destiny engine . In fact everything has been tweaked and made just that much harder again to keep you playing just that much longer and pay that much more time and money into the platinum selling machine while they fix all the issues and maybe before I die create new zones ( of all levels ) . And no I'm not negative I love this game and I'm beyond disappointed with what they have done to it . This is the truth wether you like it or not . When I was 110 I could solo Redbane with one or two heal pots , now it takes 20-25 and I barely can do it

It would appear that there is an increase in the casting time. It is taking a little bit longer to kill mobs that need two shots. Of course, getting two ice spells in a row to land has become very rare. Resists to mages spells are way too high.

Damage variability is another issue that mages face. With max attunement and max lure my ice shards damage will range from around 4500 to around 10500. Given that casting is our sole source of damage this needs to be adjusted to keep mages as a viable damage class.

Mages need some love OTM. If you won't give us the love then at least stop beating us with the nerf stick.
